View prior to bow decking and engine tanks.
The final design differs very slightly at the stern from this photo of the original boat.

Engine buoyancy tanks under construction.
The engine area is heavily triangulated and
very strong for whatever may come!

Try out for the steering and throttle levers

As a matter of interest you can see we
considered a wheel for steering - but in the
interest of safety (getting in and out of the
boat quickly) and weight of the gear; this
idea was discarded for a simpler and it
turns out totally reliable lever system.

The boat now nearing completion, only
the bow decking, cockpit trimming,
engine controls and cockpit buoyancy
to finish and then tidy the edges + final decoration.
